Hi all,

First of all, would like to say "good job mates!!!" to all the people
who has done a great job on the sinhala gnu/linux project.

I think Nandalal has a very valid point. We should operate in small
teams during the translation process of apps and docs. Also I would like
to suggest that we have a central point for language issues. This
central committee (if you want to call it) does not need to be very
formal, but can act as a helpful place for providing guidelines on
translation and help on sinhala terms for english technical terms.

This would make all the translated docs look and feel a bit more
uniform.

Translating of the various applications and desktops to Sinhala is a
BIG undertaking. Let us have small teams to do this in a sytematic
manner.

The first documents to translate must be the introductions, HowTos etc
so that people get to know what these programs are and how to use them
ASAP.

I would like to introduce people to Lyx, vi and mc for example.... :)

We could start on such things NOW! Let us keep the Sinhala contempory
and simple - not too stiff ;-)

BTW can we use Sinhala in vi ?
