Hi all,

The heat about the GNU/Linux discussion is going up and let me clarify a
couple of things.

First, this is just an informal discussion (it started with my question
"what do you think?". It is NOT an "election" about changing the name.
The LKLUG committee will take a decision whether to consider it.

Secondly, this is not a one or zero question. There are different ways
of giving the due credit to GNU, such as making the official long name
as "Lanka GNU/Linux User Group", but keeping LKLUG as the acronym.
(UNIX still has a system call "creat" ;-))

Although this is not an election, as our members voiced their opinions,
let me summarize:

Also note that one can't increase votes by introducing new members from
thin air. We will count votes only from the members who have been
actively contributing. ;-) Although I will not proactively participate
in the discussion, my _vote_ will go in there. ;-)

"Not to GNU":
- Harsha S
- Kosala
- Parthi
- Sanjiva

"To GNU":
- Anuradha
- Bud
- Chintana
- Pradeeper

Neutral
- Visvanath
