debugging this problem might take some time, and it would be more convenient
to re-instal rh, make sure you do a very minimal instalation first, then
once you have an up and running system, just rpm install rest of packages
required ( and remember this is an ancient 386 !).
I have not heard much about someone running rh5.2 let me know about
performance, what do you intend to use this machine for ?
